Andrea Marie Emshwiller

Mrs. Andrea Marie Emshwiller, aged 68, of Coopersville passed away early Saturday morning January 13, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband, James; son, Richard (Amy) Emshwiller; daughter, Suzanne (Troy) Jonas and grandchildren, Elizabeth and Amanda Jonas; mother, Elizabeth Ellis; sisters, Roberta Ellis and Michelle (Ron) Robbins; son and daughter, Todd and Karla VanHouten and grandchildren, Dan and Kelli VanHouten. Andrea was born June 15, 1938 to proud parents Elizabeth and Fred Ellis in Grand Rapids, MI. She married James Emshwiller June 21, 1958 and they moved to their home in the Coopersville area shortly after their marriage. Andrea is one of the original members of the Blodgett Hospital Stekettee's Guild founded in 1960. She later worked for many years at Blodgett-Spectrum Health as manager of The Window Shop. Andrea was a loving, compassionate and giving person. She put her family above all else. She was wiser beyond her years and stronger then her petite frame. She was adored and admired by all who knew her and her memory will live on thru the many lives she has touched. The family invites you to celebrate her life with them at Frederik Meijer Gardens on Wednesday January 17, 2007 from 4 to 8 p.m. Private family Interment.
