Andrea Dianne Rianne Manning Anderson Massara

PHOENIX - Andrea Dianne Rianne Manning Anderson Massara left this world on January 5th, 2018 surrounded by a room full of people who loved her fiercely. From her birth 24 years ago in a New York ambulance, to her battle with a rare form of cancer at a young age, Andrea always did the unexpected. She lived her life with an intensity that drew people to her. She could make people laugh with her distinctive sense of humor. She could meet a stranger and become the best of friends. She had the ability to see inside people, encourage them to take risks and face their fears. Her self-confidence was engaging and she was always up for an adventure. Even though life was cut way too short for Andrea, she had some remarkable achievements. The highest of those was the birth of her amazing son, Maxson. She has left this gift of life and love for her family and friends to cherish. Andrea was short a few credits from receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Education from ASU. While being a young mother and struggling with a grave illness, she persevered and was within sight of the finish line, while holding on to a 4.0 GPA. Andrea had a gift with words and was an exceptional writer. She also loved to travel, tell jokes, share her opinions, hug, give nicknames, laugh, do impressions, play matchmaker, host mixers, sing, spend time with friends, be spontaneous and live life to the fullest. As exceptional as her personality was, so was her love. Family was everything to Andrea. She has left precious memories in the hearts of her son, Maxson; mother, Laurie Manning; father, Mark Manning; birth mother, Dawn Edwards; birth father, Phillip Massara; siblings, Marc Manning, Kevin Reynolds, Phillip Jr. Massara, Sue Massara Jones, Jennifer Miller, Anthony Miller, Ashley Miller, Andrew Miller, Cecelia Massara, Rocky Massara, and Dylan Spagnualo; grandmother Anne; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Rest in peace, Andrea. August 20, 1993 - January 5, 2018

Memorial Service celebrating the life of Andrea will be held on January 11th, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Christ's Church of the Valley, 7007 W. Happy Valley Road, Peoria, Arizona 85383. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a memorial fund in honor of Andrea to benefit Maxson: "Bubby's Future Fund" Wells Fargo Account #5542520571, Routing # 122105278

The sorrow of the faithful
is not that of permanent loss,
but the tender sense of sadness
that comes in saying good-bye for now
to someone we love.
May today's sorrow give way
to the peace and
comfort of God's love.

Extending deepest sympathy
For you in your loss.
And hoping, too,
That comfort and peace
May come to you.

Praying for friends to comfort you,
faith to uphold you,
and loving memories
to help you smile again.
