Time changes nothing. I still miss the sound of your voice, the stories of your life and just being with you. I miss you as much today as I did the day you died. I just miss you.

Thinking of you

I remember when my Uncle Andrew first came over from England and I was just a little girl and so shy to meet him. He became a big part of my childhood and there are too many memories to mention. Of course there were all the motocross races that my mom and grandad would take us to. It was such a family event and everyone loved it. During high school my Uncle Andrew gave me a job as an aerobics instructor at his gym and introduced me to the world of fitness. It was my favourite job and I have fantastic memories from those times. He also gave me my first car. It was on old Duster and I loved it. I drove that car everywhere until it finally gave out on the way home from school one day and my sister Mandy and I had to abandon it and walk home. He had a big impact on my childhood and I will miss his big personality, sarcasm and sense of humour. I'm sad we didn't get out to see him before he passed but I'm comforted in knowing he is now reunited with nana, grandad and my mom.

In later years whilst driving around Surrey and Langley Andy would reminisce about former clients and horses he knew. Many of the big beautiful properties were being developed. He would get so upset that all the trees were disappearing. Please plant a tree for Andy. He would be pleased to participate in a living tribute.ca.

Andy spent years trying to perfect the dad joke (you know, those jokes that got some chuckles but mostly groans and eye rolling). His last 9 years were spent in and out of several Lower Mainland hospitals yet he always loved to tease the nurses. Every nurse heard this one, as they were placing electrodes on his chest: Don't stick any on my chest hairI call it Tony'cause it's the tony one! (haha). Thank you to all the nurses who giggled.
