ANDREW A. "ANDY"
On Friday, January 19, 2018, of Swissvale. Loving husband of 60 years to Peggy; father of Joseph, Patricia and her husband Allan, Andrew and his wife Sasha, and the late James and his deceased wife Denise. Andrew loved his grandchildren and was a proud "Grandpap" to Christopher, Erin Jo and her husband Jonathan, Nikki and her husband Dave, and Lauren and her husband Adam; great-"Grandpap" to Annakay, Brayden, and baby boy to be; brother of Paul, Raymond, and the late John and Bernard. Andy loved his family, sports, bowling, and his daily morning walks in Swissvale. He graduated from Rankin High School in 1951. He honorably served in the US Navy 1953-1957. He married Peggy on May 25, 1957. He retired from the Edgar Thompson Braddock Works. Swissvale will surely miss seeing Andy every day walking in his neighborhood. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. TUESDAY ONLY at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington Street, Swissvale. Mass of Christian Burial in the Madonna del Castello Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m.

The outpouring of love and support from everyone that met my Dad has been a blessing! We will surely miss our Dad! He was a good man and I am proud to be his only daughter. Love you Daddy!
