Andrew Ginivisian Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Feb. 13 to Feb. 15, 2015.
West Vancouver resident, Andrew Artin Ginivisian, 78, died suddenly Wednesday January 28 at St. Paul's Hospital. Andrew was born in Egypt, raised in Kenya and travelled and worked around the world with his beloved wife, Merise, finally settling in West Vancouver in 1980. Andrew was much loved by his two daughters, Jan Croxford and Lesley Tetiker and their families, Steve, granddaughters, Sara and Shelley, and Nihat, granddaughters, Emel and Lauren. Andrew was very fortunate to have his special friend, Adeline Bourbonniere, and her family to share in his life in recent years. Thank you for all of your self sacrifice and for guiding us through our lives, Dad, you will be our legacy. The funeral will take place at 11:00 am, February 28 at St Anthony's Parish, West Vancouver, followed by a Celebration of Life for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be gratefully received.

i am so sorry to hear of Andrew`s passing. I met him soon after your Mom had passed; he missed her terribly. He was a good friend to me, I had lost my husband prior to our meeting in Cuba. He was so kind and considerate. We will all miss him but know we will meet with him again. Please accept my heartfelt wishs for your families and Adeline.

Never knew how I loved you till you were e gone, dad. Was going to say it out loud to you in the hospital. Only solace is that you are not in pain and that you are with mum.
