Andy was one of the very best. So cultured, so erudite, such an aficionado of classic Hollywood and international cinema. Yet he was a mensch, one of the very best people you can ever meet. We can use more Andy Lurias in our lives and the world would be a much, much better place.

Sincere condolences to the family and other friends. I so enjoyed seeing Andy at our Verona High School reunion some years back. We continued to keep in touch through Facebook and crossed many paths & circles in NYC and then some, always saying we would rendezvous sometime in NY or FL some day. Such an interesting man. Whenever I put a post on Facebook of food at a restaurant, he would make me chuckle by saying "FedEx me the leftovers!"
Surprised & sad to hear of his passing,
Betsy Osmun
