He shared his love of the outdoors with his family, venturing often to the Northwoods on numerous fishing and hunting trips which included his favorite spot, Rainbow Lake. Many were fortunate to enjoy Andy's gourmet meals and passion for fine foods. Andy and Janet shared wonderful traveling escapades both domestic and abroad with their most recent trip visiting Prague. They also enjoyed many coastal sailing adventures with dear friends. Andy always enjoyed being challenged to a game of cribbage and playing bridge with friends.

Dyer Community Library. He was proud to be named a lifetime honorary trustee of the library and later received the Hampden Distinguished Citizen Award. Work related organizations included the Industrial Communication Association and the New England Fuel Institute. He served as director of both. At a state level he was a member of Maine Development Foundation and the Maine Overseers of the Bar. His community involvement continued after his retirement to Brooklin, including serving on the board of Coastal Holdings and The Grand Auditorium in Ellsworth. Recognitions include; United Way Distinguished Community Service Award, United Way Presidents Award and the Husson College Public Service Award.

Very sorry to hear about Andy. I was glad we could visit with you all in Brooklyn last year. I really enjoyed sitting down with Andy and just talking over old times and current events while we visited - the visit was a highlight of our trip to Maine. Andy, you will always be remembered as our closest neighbor and a great guy. Hi to Becky - too bad we missed you when we visited.

Sandra and I offer caring thoughts and the very best to the Pease family at this difficult time. Andy will always be remembered as a perfect gentleman who projected humor and sincerity in his makeup. Thought I can not attend the service on Thursday my thoughts will be with Andy and the special times we had at Rainbow Lake Lodge and Webber Energy Fuels ... over the years. Heartfelt sorrow and condolences to the Hill's "home away from home" family on the passing of dear Andrew who will remain forever in our hearts and souls as among the earliest of childhood friends- thru thick & thin thru out all these ensuing years. May God's determination provide strength and comfort as family & your friends remain there for you sharing the peace he has now attained. Prayers and thoughts remain constantly with you during this very difficult transition...If I am unable to be there in person, know I am with you in spirit. We'll get together this summer at any rate. Love, Sally Reed
