To the Skeabeck Family,
I owe my love of History to Andy. He was perhaps of the best profs that I ever had. I got to know him a bit more when he was stationed at West End with my brother and he was present at two of the Thanksgiving dinners that my brother organized.
May he have life in abundance.

My condolences to the Skeabeck family.
One of the very many young men Fr. Skeabeck taught -- in my case both at North East and at Suffield -- I consider myself a fortunate man to have been his student and confrere. His passions for sports and history were infectious; I'm sure that at least half of all the history-facts clanking around in my brain came from the classes and talks I had with him. Although I eventually pursued a different path, the love for history that he lit inside me never dimmed. It just skipped a generation into my older daughter who caught the "Skeeter" bug and has, in fact, gone on to become an historian. He's one of the immortals. You're in my prayers.

Father Skeabeck was my teacher at North East and Andy my colleague at Suffield. He was the complete Redemptorist. His devotion to the Yankees and the Cleveland Browns never overshadowed his devotion and commitment to the community. He was deeply spiritual, meticulous in everything he did, and touched thousands of Redemptorists who touch millions and millions of others. May he rest in God's peace and may his family know that he is home.

Father Skeabeck was a kindly, but exact teacher of history. He was always the gentleman, considerate of his confreres. Fr. Andy was always the first to BBQ on Sundays at San Alphonso. Thanky you, Andrew for all you've done for us so faithfully. R.I.P.

Father Seakbeck always had a smile. He taught me at both Northeast and Suffield. Loved sports, and on the field was one of us.

Fr. Skeabeck taught me Church History in the minor seminary. He was, in my opinion, the best professor I ever had in the seminary. His infectious optimism plus his love for history were influences that helped shape my life. Also, he played basketbal with us back in l949 as if there were no tomorrow. May he rest in peace.

Father Sheabeck was a kind gentleman, gifted teacher and committed priest to the hundreds of students in his care. I was blessed to be one of them.

Fr. Skeabeck taught me at North East and Suffield, Conn. He was a kind and caring person who taught us more by example than by mouth. A great loss to us all, Our prayers are with his Mother and Family.

Mrs. Skeabeck and Family -
Please know that my and my family's thoughts are with you at this time. Fr. Andy was a great, gentle, man - one who I will always remember. Our talks out on the front lawn about baseball, golf and whatever other topic will always be treasured by me. I've told our daughter numerous stories about them, and about Father. May you find comfort in your memories, and being the great family you are, let your love, strength and faith guide you during this difficult time.
