Great guy. Strong Christian. Could quote Monty Python verbatim. See you in heaven brother!

In June 1970 I met Andrew for the first time when I stayed with the Szabó family at their home just north of London. He was just 13 years old then. Nine years later he showed up and stayed with me a few weeks in Berkeley, and we became instant friends for life.

The strength, dedication and bright light that Andrew brought with him to class was unparalleled. I feel honored to have had Andrew as a yoga student and friend for many years. Below are some pictures from one of our many workshops at Sunstone.

We may never understand why God takes the best ones home early, but my hope is that we can find some peace and comfort knowing that Andrew is finally free. My condolences go out to the Szabo family and all who are grieving this devastating loss.
Andrew, you will be deeply and dearly missed. May you rest easy.

I actually never met Andrew, but saw him a few times at the pool or lobby of our residencial building.
I understood what he and his wife were going through and felt emotional pain by simply watching him struggle to walk because my own husband also perished from A.L.S. back in 2020.
To Melissa and their family, please receive my comforting thoughts and a big hug.
God bless.

I met Andrew when he came to my work to introduce our staff to Positively Outrageous Service. He was always smiling and happy to teach us a new way of thinking towards our customers. He was an amazing man and I so appreciated his positive attitude towards everything! I am glad for a short time I was able to know him. I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you in my prayers.

It's the conversations beginning over a meal and venturing to a back patio. They were never as long as desired or as often but always inspiring. Here's a through back pic. Laughter was a vital part of these times.

I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew at AquaFit class at LA Fitness in 2022, and we became instant friends (as he seemed to do with everyone he met.) He always had a big smile and was genuinely interested in whomever he was speaking with. His upbeat attitude and love of Jesus was an inspiration to us all. Heaven´s gain is our loss.
