TOMMY, Andrew Bailie Jr. Co-founder, Tommy & Lefebvre, Edelweiss Ski & Golf Resort Former Olympian and Canadian Ski Hall of Famer Peacefully at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Monday, August 2, 2004, surrounded by his family, age 71 years. Dear son of Helen and the late Andrew Tommy Sr. Beloved husband of Marion (nee Dunning). Loving father of Sarah (Mrs. Don Frisby), Randy (Michele), Lisa (Mrs. Chris Kent) and Michael (Gabriele). Cherished Grandpa of Angela, Emily, and Thomas Frisby; Brooklyn, Duncan, Mikaela and Reese Tommy. Predeceased by two brothers, Art and Fred. Also survived by two sisters-in-law, Lyn and Heather Tommy and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa Friday 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, August 8, 2004 at 11 a.m. Thanks to Drs. Masters and Higginson and the nursing staff, especially Tracey, of the Ottawa Heart Institute, for their special care. Memorial donations to the Univerity of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
