Akron - Andrew Toney Wilson passed peacefully on October 20, 2023. He was a gentle giant that had never met a stranger. He would help everyone with anything. He was a learned man and could speak to almost any subject. He worked for the post office for 10 years then worked for the Department of Corrections' Facility for 20 Years. His career ended early due to his blindness. He said the things he missed the most was driving and reading. He loved to travel and spend time with his family. He is survived by his siblings Dorothy Jefferson, Marilyn Wilson Cotton MaryAnn Woods(Darrin), Michael Wilson (posthumously), cousin Gwendolyn Wilson Cobb (Roger), and special friend Gwendolyn Jones. His children Tonia Williams( Bobby), Andrea Horton Castro, Charlesa Hann, Stephanie Wilkerson( Benny) and Andrew T Wilson. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. There will be a private service for his family.

Andrew was A man of wisdom and he shared his knowledge with many people. He was a good listening ear that gave great and reliable advice for most situations. He will be Miss by many. I miss and love you soo much Granddaddy until we meet again Your Best Girl Peaches
