CLINTON — Angel Michelle Herman, adored daughter, loving mother, passed away on December 16, 2009, in Clinton, Iowa. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 29, 2009, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Church of the Open Door, 816 13th Ave. North. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at Church of the Open Door, 816 13th Ave North, with burial in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Jim Machen and Pastor Dennis Glew will be officiating. Angel M. Herman was born in Iowa City, Iowa, to Max Herman and Lucinda Jamieson on November 2, 1987. She attended Clinton Community schools. Angel worked for Collis as a packer for the past three years; she graduated from the Northeast Community School District in 2006. Angel's greatest joy was her little boy, Cyrus. He was the light of her life always bringing him a gift home when she had to run errands. She enjoyed hanging out with friends, boating on the Mississippi and shopping. Angel is survived by her mother, Lucinda "Lu" Jamieson-Herman (Shawn Odom), Camanche; father Max Herman (Susie Arioso), Clinton; three sisters, Crystal Herman (Brandon Talbot), Clinton; Brandi Herman, Camanche; Shailynn Odom, Camanche; one brother, Dysin Odom, Camanche; one stepsister, Cassie Doran, Clinton; one stepbrother, Tyler Doran, Iowa City, Iowa; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and a son, Cyrus. Memorials are to be made to the family. A memorial fund has been established at Clinton National Bank, 235 Sixth Ave. South, or Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 2610 Manufacturing Drive.
