Alto - Memorial services are pending for Angel "Al" Navarro Jr., 83 of Alto. Mr. Navarro died Tuesday, April 19th, 2016. He was born August 14th, 1932 in Vacaville, California to Angel Navarro Sr and Evelyn Garcia Navarro who preceded him in death. Al grew up and attended school in Vacaville and Torrance, California and received his B.S. in electrical engineering. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and served with the demolition team and with submarines. After his discharge he worked for U.S. Steel and later as the plant manager for a steel company in Carson City, Nevada. Al retired to Alto and raised Angus cows. He was an accomplished musician and a member of the Musicians Union. Al was a fifty year mason, 32nd degree Scottish Rite, Ambassador for the Kerak Shrine and past worthy matron of the Eastern Star. He was Protestant. He was also preceded in death by brothers Frank and Joe Navarro. Al is survived by wife of 47 years Bonnie Navarro of Alto, daughter Diane Chabot of Vacaville, California, son Angel M. Navarro of Cave Junction, Oregon, sister Dolores Brown of Lake Almanor, California and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives in California and Spain.

Ms Navarro, I so dearly love you! I know you are hurting right now and I'm so sorry for that. You know I haven't known y'all for long, but you guys are super beautiful people. Bonnie & family, We always loved being around Al. Charles & I enjoyed talking to him and will miss the joy we had.
