We are deeply saddened upon hearing the loss of our dear friend Angela. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and wonderful circle of friends. We are incredibly thankful for Angela´s unselfish commitment to helping others and the support teams she organized and inspired to do the same. The work done in restoring New Orleans damaged firehouses after Katrina was nothing short of amazing. The friendships forged were not only special but made us all feel our lives had become better for having met and shared these times together. We have Angela to thank for this great opportunity.
Angela will be sorely missed by all. The memory of all she accomplished and the lives she touched will never be forgotten.
Bless you Angela, your family and all your friends.

To:Angelea’s Children, Grand-children,Brothers and their families& James Kearney:
My thoughts and prayers are with you on the loss of Angelea. I watched her funeral for the second time today and marvelled at what she packed in during her time with us. When I think of my time with Angelea over the years, mainly at Lakeside and a wonderful week in New York, I smile as that was what we did in Angelea presence. There was always a joke or amusing event that happened or was about to happen. Angelea was high energy, good fun, caring and a DOER. She got things done. Ask the busy people, the others have no time. She loved her new home and her time there with Jimmy Kearney as they renovated and put their personal touches to it. Warm thought and love from PEI - Zita, Nikki and Mike Roberts

To: Angela's children, Lauren,Brittany and Daniel,
Although we have never met, I do know that your mother's love for you was deathless, a love that was without conditions. I wish you had your Mom for many, many more years; however, if the dead could come back to earth and be with the ones they love, know that she will always be with you on your brightest day and your darkest night, amidst all your moments of joy and also of sorrow. This is not goodbye but rather until you see her again, as you cling to her memory as a source of strength.

I first met Angela on a 2007 trip to NOLA. She arranged all the details for us to work with the local Fire Department to restore damaged firehouses after Katrina. The city was puling itself back together, but some of the firehouses were still operating out of trailers. She was an expert at bringing people together and getting them to be productive workers. We worked hard during the day, met NOLA firepeople, and had a blast! She arranged many such trips for the NYC Carpenters and they were always filled to capacity. Back in NYC, she stayed in touch with me and we did some SFG events. She always had enthusiasm for whatever she was doing, whether it was work, family, frends, and charitable events. I admired her unflagging spirit and envied her boundless energy. I will always remember her with much fondness! Goodbye, Angela. I hope there is a tremendous welcome hime party for you in heaven!
