Survivors include her daughters, Courtney Alford-Portley (Garreth) and Deja Richardson of Longview.
The family extends special thanks to Heart'sWay Hospice, Good Shepherd Medical Center, M.D. Anderson and Longview Cancer Center.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at the funeral home.

I will like to say I'm sorry for your loss. I know how it feels to loose a mother. I have worked with Angela in the past and I'm just finding out the news. She was very sweet and nice. May God bless each one of you. Keep your faith in God!!! He only takes the best!! I'm so so so sorry!! This family will be in my prayers tonight.

Angela was my mothers nurse at Highland Pines. Each time I went to visit my mother I would visit with Angela. I will always remember her beautiful smile and the loving care she gave to all her patients. She was a very special person. Heaven has a special angel. May God bless each of you .
