Harold Rose Obituary
Bart served his country in the Pacific Theater of WWII in the U.S. Navy. During his professional career he owned and operated Chittenden Mills Service Station in Vermont. He was a member of the McDonough Masonic Lodge #26 in Jericho, VT, the Elks Lodge of Sebastian, FL, the DAV of Palm Bay, the Barefoot Bay Gold and Country Club, and a former member of the Moose Lodge of Sebastian. While in Jericho, Bart and his wife owned horses and he is a past-president of the horse club there.
Bart is survived by his wife Marietta "Mimi" with which he shared 69 years of marriage. He is also survived by his nieces, Jan Larry-Mulcahy, Sandy Green, and Susan Rose, his nephews Irv, Marsh, and Fred Rose, and John and Alan Douglas, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 2-4p.m. Sunday March 17, 2013 at Fountainhead Funeral Home in Palm Bay. Services will be at 2p.m. Monday March 18, 2013 in the funeral home chapel followed by committal with military honors at Fountainhead Memorial Park.

Dear Aunt Mimi:
He is resting in peace with his two brothers my dad Fred and Uncle Harry. I have many fond memories of Uncle Bart may it be hanging out with Skip and him at the garage in Jericho as a young boy or playing golf with him in Barefoot Bay as a man. I am sorry that I did not get to see him before he pasted. He will be truly missed see you in a few days. All my love Aunt Mimi.

Dear Aunt Mimi, Jan,Irv and Marsh: I am so sorry for the loss of Uncle Bart. I have been blessed to have the honor of calling him Uncle for a very long time He was such a treasure to all who was fortunate enough to know him. God Bless and Keep Him Always. Jan, I'm so sorry to hear about Uncle Bart. I know he was a large part of your life and I know all who knew him will miss him terribly. I'm so glad I got to "experience" Uncle Bart when I was spending time with you. I say "experience" because it was. A very happy experience. You knew when he came him into the room there would be laughter. That's what I remember about him. I bet his puppy is really going to be lost without him. My heartfelt condolences to your Aunt Mimi and to all his family.

Aunt Mimi,
Although I can't be there in person I am there in spirit. Uncle Bart will always hold a special place in my heart. There are too many wonderful memories espically "How do you spell your last name!!" I'm glad I got to spend some time with him at Christmas. My love to you Aunt Mimi.

I want to extend our sympathy to Harold's family. I remember well the help he and Skip Bennett would give me with my antique cars when I would stop at Chittenden Mills.
