WEISNER ANGELA
Passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015. She was born to the late Rudolph and Mary Wodisch of Coraopolis. Angela graduated from Coraopolis High School and was employed by Homestead Valve Manufacturing Company until 1942. After being a stay-at- home mom for 21 years, she returned to the work force and was an Administrative Secretary at Sewickley Valley Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband, William J. Weisner; and sister, Edna Bonham; survived by son, William B. (Janet) Weisner of Columbus, Ohio; and daughter, Susan (Richard) Klixbull of Glen Osborne, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Emily (Kendell) Thompson, Christopher and Brittney Weisner, Lauren (Gabriel) Reiter, Benjamin and Matthew Klixbull; and great-grandchildren, Zane, Elliott and Maisie; and sister, Mary Huey of Sewickley. Angela was an active member of St. Joseph Church, a Brownie leader, and a Cub Scout mother. She was also active in many civic organizations, Junior Women's Club, Century Club, New Era Club, Adult Resources, AARP, and secretary of the Coraopolis Memorial Library Board. Her love of reading led her to be one of the pioneers of the present Coraopolis Memorial Library, spending many hours cataloging books when the library was in the Municipal Building. She also helped start the library at former St. Joseph School. Family will receive friends at COPELAND'S CORAOPOLIS, 867 Fifth Ave., on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Coraopolis Memorial Library or the St. Joseph Cemetery.
