Angela Wright Obituary
Angie was born on September 15, 1970 in Hammond and graduated from Andrean High School in 1989. She later went on to study accounting at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
Angie moved around a bit, having lived in the Region as well as Indianapolis and Kansas City. Everywhere she lived, worked or just existed, she made best friends. Because she was born in Chicagoland, she chose the Chicago Cubs as her baseball heart, but living in Kansas City for a stint made the Kansas City Chiefs her football obsession.
Angie is survived by her sons Carter King, Griffin Wright and former husband James Wright. She leaves behind a legion of chosen family who will forever be better people for having been part of her tribe.
A Celebration of Life will be held March 15, 2025 at Avalon Manor in Merrillville. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you contribute to her son Griffin's college expenses at https://gofund.me/dac2c485.

Angie, you walked into my life in 1997 and forever changed and impacted my path. God gifted me the best friend that I needed and I was so fortunate to have you by my side ever since. I told griffin I will continue to help with his schooling and I am committed to that. This picture is the day I took you to the airport to head to KC. . Our weekly chats will continue because I know you hear me; I love you forever and ever.
