Angelina Norton Obituary
Angelina Norton, 91, of Liverpool, NY, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 13, 2015. Angelina was born August 24, 1923 in Newark, NJ, to Frank and Catherine Tortoriello.
Angelina worked for many years as a restaurant hostess at Mr. Steak (Kirby's) Restaurant in Liverpool. She was a member of the Elks Lodge and many other civic, church and community organizations, and a longtime member of St. Joseph's the Worker Church in Liverpool.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harry W. Norton; her sister, Carmella and her brother, Frank.
Surviving are her three sons, Wayne, Bruce (Crystal) & Norty; six grandchildren, Celeste, Jason, Bruce Jr., Ashley, Alicia & Athena; two great-granddaughters, Angelina & Anya; and her brother, Patrick Torrell; and many, many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY 13212.
A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at St. Joseph's the Worker Church 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
