MARY JO DUNCAN KIRK WILLCOX

Mary Jo Duncan Kirk Willcox, 84, formerly of Memphis, TN, died October 28, 2014. She was born December 28, 1929, the only daughter of James T. Duncan, Sr. and Irene Baker Duncan. Mary Jo was a 1947 graduate of Messick High School and worked as a Division Manager for Sears and Roebuck, Co. She was a lifelong member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. After retirement, she resided at Eaglecrest Nursing Center at Ash Flat, Arkansas since 2007 and was president of the Residents Association. She was preceded in death by husbands, Emmett L. (Stumpy) Kirk and Charles R. Willcox; two brothers, Dr. James T. Duncan, Jr., Eugene Duncan; one granddaughter, Carolyn Kirk, and since her death, her eldest son, Thomas R. Kirk, who died on November 5, 2014. She is survived by three sons, Donald L. Kirk, Ronald E. Kirk, and Stephan A Kirk all of Sharp and Fulton Counties, Arkansas, two brothers, Dr. William Lloyd Duncan of Martin, Tennessee and Dr. Donald Lee Duncan of Texarkana, Arkansas; five grandchildren, John Kirk, Jen Carlson, Greg Kirk, all of California and William Hunter Kirk and Mary Amanda Kirk, both of Bentonville, Arkansas; six great-grandchildren, Thomas Heffron, Cameron Nuss, Courtney Nuss, Joshua Kirk, Jacob Kirk, and Savannah Kirk. As a mother, sister and friend, she was greatly loved and admired. We miss her so much. Her memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at New Hope Assembly of God in Rogers, AR.
