Ann was my great great Grandma. I can remember when we would go visit her she always had candy or some cookie to give me. Ususally the cookies were home made even at 94 years old. She lived a long life and was a great gradma. She will be dearly missed.

Ann was my grandmother. I remember going to her house when I was little and it seemed that she had a never ending supply of oatmeal raisin cookies, cinnamon rolls from the woodstove and homemade butter. If you were there at dinner time grandma always had enough food for everyone. I will love her and miss her always.

My mom, Ottilia (ottie) Knutson and my dad, otto were old friends of the Birrers. Their friendship started before WW11 and coutinued to my parents deaths. I remember going to the farm as a young child to get milk. I would take my boys along with my mom to visit Ann, she would always have something for them to do. She understood kids. I was impressed by her wood stove, she still used it to cook. My husband was impressed at her stewardship of her land. One of the few farms that had not been developed. My family will miss Ann. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Judy(Knutson) McConathy

My great great grandma had a neat farm and I loved going to see all her animals. She always had candy or cookies for me too. I will miss her.

Ann was my great grandmother. She never seemed like a great grandma, just "Grandma"! She was an amazing, strong and loving person. She loved her family and the lord with all her heart. Grandma worked hard everyday of her life. She helped mold me in the person I am today. There will not be a day that doesn't go by, where she has not touched me or my family in someway. She will be missed in everyday.

Our parents lived a long life. They left a great legacy. My condolences.
