Ann Cannon Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 18, 2024.
Ann Cannon, 89, of Glenolden, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 7, 2024.

Ann was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. She worked as a nurse well into her 70's, providing exceptional care to the retired Sisters in the Cabrini Home.

She is survived by her two sons, James and Johnny, her grandchildren Andrew (Cassy), Daniel (Kathlyn), Ryan, Caleb, and Julianna, as well as her great-granddaughter, Danica, and her only niece, Gena (John) McBride. Ann was predeceased by her husband, Andrew, and her daughter, Lynda, and her sister Marie O'Regan.

Ann loved physical activity, particularly walking with her son, Johnny. She also found joy in her trips to the casino, trying her luck at the slot machines. Reading and continuing education were among her passions, always eager to learn something new.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 30 at 11 AM at Community Church of Folsom, located at 1212 Melrose Terrace, Folsom, PA.

I remember Ann when I was a child teenage and grown. Ann was always kind. Hard working. Great Mother. We didn´t speak for along time. I moved away. We just reconnected her mind was sharp. I´m going to miss our phone conversation. Your interest in learning. You will be missed. Hedy

My first memory of her was seeing her all dressed up in a gorgeous dress, the like i had never seen. I was in awe of her..I always saw her with her beautiful children in her Mothers home near mine..She was an exceptional Mother with every challenge she had and there were many..She always stood up to them with faith and courage..She was a mentor to me and i listened to every word, sometimes i did not have patience but i loved her, and she knew..I have her books and picture of Lynda i will hold dear. and pray she is in Heaven with Lynda and the hundreds she loved and who loved her..hoping i will meet her again..Rest in eternal peace cousin Ann,,

I never had the pleasure of meeting Ann, but she was so welcoming and kind to my daughter, Cassy who married her grandson Andrew. They enjoyed many conversations and developed a special bond over the past few years. Cassy adored her.Sending big hugs and prayers to her family and friends.
