Mrs. Ann Marie Clutter of Sardis, WV, passed away peacefully Friday, November 12, 2004 at 6:20 pm at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on September 6, 1957 in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Clifford Swiger and Margaret McQuaid Swiger who survives in Sardis.

Mrs. Clutter married Robert Lee Clutter on July 15, 1972, who survives her. Also surviving are her three sons: Matthew Clutter and companion Robyn of Sardis, Daniel Clutter and wife Cindy of Bridgeport, and Benjamin Clutter of Sardis. She was the grandmother of three: Stephanie Marie Clutter, Desierae, and Justin. Surviving are six brothers: William Roger Swiger and wife Charlotte of New Tazewell, Tennessee, James Anthony Swiger and wife Tina of Big Rock Camp, Robert Kenneth Swiger and wife Glenna of Morgantown, WV, Joseph Edward Swiger and wife Jacquie of Morgantown, Jeffery Lynn Swiger and wife Gerri Lynn of Frametown, WV, Ray Laughery and wife Eunice of Mesquite, Texas. She had one sister: Jeannine Amos and husband Randy of Clarksburg. She also had several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by one brother, Randal Clifford Swiger.

She was known for her love of nature. She had a fond love for birds and also enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Clutter was a Personal Care Provider. She attended the Little Rock Camp Baptist Church.

Family and Friends may call at the Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Drive, Rt. 98 Clarksburg/Nutter Fort, on Sunday, November 14, 2004 from 12:00 noon till 8:00 pm. Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 15, 2004 at 1:00 pm with the Reverend Glen Kuhn officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
