Ann Rosemary Conway (nee Storr), born April 8, 1934, departed on her next great adventure on April 13, 2018 at the age of 84.

Ann Rosemary is the much loved mother and mother-in-law of: Elizabeth Conway, Victoria; Michael (Karen) Conway, Toronto; Jacquie Conway (Aaron Campbell), Victoria; Jennifer (Michael) Burmeister, Langley.
Proud grandmother of: Jeffrey (Amanda); Katie (Jeffrey); Nicholas (Tika); John (Katie); Joseph (Tamara); Tyrell; and great-grandmother of Mia and EJ. Survived by her brother-in-law David (Zita) Conway and niece, Lisa Conway; and her sister-in-law Cynthia Reid.
Predeceased by her parents Lancelot and Geraldine Storr, and her brother John Storr. Active and valued member of the Community Arts Council, the Moondrumming Circle, and the High Noon Choir.

A life long resident of Victoria (with brief stints in Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver and Boston), Ann Rosemary was an artist who brought her artists eye to everything she did. Her work specialized in exploring the sacred feminine through paintings, prints and sculptures. She was a teacher, interior designer, paper maker, painter, book illustrator, published author, and women's empowerment circle facilitator. Ann Rosemary was a passionate advocate for women, the environment, and peace.

Throughout her life, Ann Rosemary went on a great many adventures. As a single mother of four, she earned her Bachelor's of Fine Arts from the University of Victoria in 1974. She obtained her pilot's licence.
She explored the world, conducting research journeys through North America, Europe, Asia and Egypt. While her family and friends will miss her dearly, they all send her off with love on her next great adventure.

Ann's father taught me in Grade 7 at University School. Her husband was my best friend at Vic High. We were all part of the same "gang" at Vic College and UBC. We shared boyhood dreams. We continued as friends, but more distant, after we were married. I still use salad servers Ann and Geoff gave us as a wedding present. I am saddened by the loss of Ann, although we had not been in touch in recent years. I would dearly love to get in touch with one of her children, email address: [email protected]

Ann was a lovely girl that was admired for her friendly smile friendly ways at Victoria College (later UVIC) in 1952. We have lost a valuable person. I was a friend of her husband, Geoff, during school years.
