Ann G Henson

Ann G Henson passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 69 in Tampa, Florida. Born on May 31, 1955, in Winter Park, Florida, she was a cherished member of the community and a devoted follower at Tampa Shores Baptist Church.

Govie was a talented artist whose love for God and her family shone brightly throughout her life. She was an active member of her church community and enjoyed a long ride on the bike with her husband, Ronald Henson, Sr., to whom she was married for nearly 51 years.

She is survived by her loving step-mother, Jerianne Payne; her husband, Ronald Henson, Sr.; her siblings, Lorie Winther and Wendy Marriot and her brother, John Ottaway, who passed shortly after her; her daughter, Amanda Lock; her son, Ronald Henson, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Kayla Lock, Rhiannon Robb, Adam Lock, Jacob Lock, and Zachary Lock. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, John Robert and Dorothy Ottaway,
A service to celebrate Govie's life will be held at Tampa Shores Community Church on July 6, 2024, at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to 50 Legs, the American Lung Association, the American Heart Association, the Infectious Disease Centers of Tampa Bay, or the SPCA. Ann's passion for life and her community will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
