Ann Marie Nolan Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Apr. 29 to Apr. 30, 2023.
NOLAN, Ann Marie, of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2023. Ann was the beloved daughter of the late Francis J. Nolan and Annie J. (Dineen), the sister of the late Teresa Shannon and her late husband Frank, Eleanor Perrier, William Nolan, and the late Francis Nolan. She is also the beloved aunt of many nieces, nephews and great nieces, and nephews.

Ann Marie lived a life steadfast in her faith and focused on her family. Her beloved Scottish Terrier, Tamara, was the center of her world. Ann was a devoted Red Sox fan, if the game was on, you'd catch her watching or listening no matter where she was. She'd often regale you with tales of the hundreds of games she attended throughout the years. She knew more about baseball than most coaches, and she wasn't afraid to share what she knew! Ann was a woman who lived simply, loved deeply, and made the most of what life brought her. She treasured her adventures to Ireland, England, Hawaii, Italy, and Disney World, and especially loved swimming with Dolphins in Florida!

She made friends easily wherever she went. She especially treasured the lifelong friendships she made when living on Jackson Street and the many friends she made while working at Sears and Roebuck.

Ann was a woman with a sharp wit and a sense of humor that would have you laughing at every turn. She was also a great cook!

Visiting Hours for Ann Marie will be held on Thursday, May 4th, in Saint John's Church, 2254 Mass Ave in Cambridge from 9:30am-11am, followed by her funeral mass in church at 11am. Burial will conclude in Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.
