Chuck, I am so sorry to learn of your great loss, and sorry I have just learned about it. The loss of a spouse is like none other. I know you and Ann had a beautiful life together and have so many beautiful memories that will help you through the most difficult days ahead. I know you know that your lovely bride is in a wonderful place...

Chuck,
I really don't know where to begin in expressing our deep sadness about "sweet Ann". She was such a tremendous person. There are very few people in the world as special as Ann. I feel so blessed to have known her and be called her friend. We will miss her so very much!

She adored you, and it was evident by the way she spoke of you. The relationship that you two shared was inspiring to those around you.

I hope you are doing well . We love you and are looking forward to spending time with you in San Antonio.

Chuck and Family,
We want to express our deepest sympathies for your loss. Ann was a most unique person. She had a level of class and grace that is rare in our world. She would truly light up a room just by entering. I know just some of the trials that she faced because of poor health in recent years. What I do know is that she faced her trials with grace and a determination to remain positive.
Chuck and I faced the challenges of leading a financial services organization. We were determined that our company exemplify integrity. We live in a cynical world. Everyone is looking for a smear on the image. What isn't obvious is how much pressure this situation puts on a spouse. Ann was one of the best representatives that our company had. No one doubted her integrity or her devotion to Chuck. Because of her devotion no one doubted Chuck's integrity.
It was a privilege to know Ann. Our prayers will be with you.

The years that I got to know Ann and Chuck while they lived in Chicago were few, but because of Ann's warmth and kindness, and her wonderfully happy union with Chuck, they made me feel like I've known them all my life.
I'll miss her terribly, my phone pal who always made time for me. I'm grateful and happy for the time we did stay in touch.
My most sincere regrets, Chuck. I can only imagine the void you will feel in your life as you were the best of everything together!
Love and God's peace to you.
Sincerely,
Sharon & Pete Ryan

Chuck and family,

So sorry not to hear of Ann's passing until after the memorial service. Sandy and I would have been there to represent the Meyer family.

Ann spent many hours with us when you were in Viet Nam. First met her in 1956 when we moved to San Antonio and she lived down the street. I have many happy memories of her.

Please accept my condolences.

My condolences to the McAleer family on the loss of Ann. I knew Ann in high school and then our sons met up at Texas Tech. When Chip came to our house to pick up Chris, I discovered who his mother was. It was a wonderful surprise. After the boys left and went back to Chip's house, I received a call from Ann and we had a delightful conversation reminiscing. Blessings to you all.

Dear Chuck, Paige, and Chip,
As you well know, God blessed you abundantly by sharing Ann's loving life with each of you. Our high school and college days may be some fifty years behind us, but the sound of her unique laughter as she shared happy times with all of us still rings true in my memories of her at IWHS and Delta Sigma Phi fraternity parties. I can see Chuck wallking Ann proudly up the aisle at their wedding in the little wooden chapel on Stanley Road at Fort Sam as I played their wedding music on the organ in the choir loft upstairs. She was exquisite then and will always be remembered that way by those of us who love her!
May God keep you and all your beautiful, comforting memories of your wife and mother in His strong fingered hands until your are joyously reunited in Heaven.
With love and blessings,
Sharon Klein Linnartz

Chuck and family - I am so sorry to read of Ann's passing. I met you and Ann shortly before Jerry and I married in 1968. She was so sweet to me. After you moved from SA, Ann continued to stay in touch for several years. Sadly, we lost contact but I am blessed to have known her if only for a few years. My heart and prayers go out to you and your children. God bless!

Chuck and family - I was so saddened to learn of Ann's passing. I'll always remember y'all as great neighbors but even after you moved to Atlanta from San Antonio, she kept in touch. When my dad (Jack Convers) died in 2001, she sent a beautiful arrangement of maroon and white carnations, so fitting for our Aggie family. She was such a thoughtful, considerate person. I know she'll be missed by many.

The void that has been left in my life will never be filled by anyone else. You were truly a special and unique person, with a heart as big as Texas! The short time we knew each other didn't mean anything to us. We were fast friends from the moment we met. I am selfishly sad you are gone from my life, but happy for you that you are at peace with God and I know you are with Cody watching over all of us. Thank you dear Ann for your friendship when I needed it the most! I will never forget you. Deborah Young

Our thoughts and prayers go out to The McAleer Family. We are KC friends of Chip. Though we never had the pleasure of meeting Chips parents we have enjoyed spending time with Chip, his wife, Michelle and their children, Chase and Lauren. They are great friends and are truly kind people. We are blessed to know them and our thoughts are with them with the passing of Ann. The Sharkey Family
