May 27, 1931 - June 8, 2023

Ann M. Siljegovich, 92, of Coral Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2023. Born on May 27, 1931, in Norfolk, Virginia, she was the beloved daughter of Thelma (née Austin) and William McClelland.

Ann's early years were filled with adventure as she moved often due to her father's career with the railroad. She shared fond memories of living in Roanoke, Virginia; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her first job was with the American Viscose Corporation in Virginia, where she collected many cherished stories. Later, she pursued a career as a medical assistant, dedicating herself to helping others.

Ann had a deep love for travel and embraced a spirit of adventure, embarking on journeys around the world. One of her most remarkable trips was a voyage on a freighter ship around South America, and she was also fortunate to visit China.

A longtime advocate for animal rights, Ann was a dedicated vegetarian, staying true to her values and compassion for all living beings.

Above all, Ann was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving daughters, Lynn Mannix and Stefana Taylor; and her cherished grandchildren, Heather Taylor and Scott William Taylor. She was an incredible grandmother, always offering love, support, and wisdom.

Ann was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Hall Horner, whom she married on February 25, 1950, and Dushan Siljegovich, whom she married on December 24, 1964. Ann's final partner was Richard Welch. Ann and Richie enjoy many days boating together in their Florida home.

Ann's kindness, adventurous spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

The family requests that donations be made to an animal rescue organization in her memory. Per Ann's request her ashes were interred in the sea.
