SISSON , Ann Wells Callanan On June 4 Ann Wells Callanan Sisson (nee Hamill), daughter of Frank J. and Marie A. Hamill, beloved wife of the late Albert Sisson, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 89. She is survived by loving brother, Jere Owens Hamill, and children John Thomas Wells IV, Patrick Joseph Wells, Joann Wells Greenbaum, and John (Jack) Callanan. Also survived by stepchildren Margaret Callanan Cohen, Patricia Callanan Schwartzman, Judi Callanan Devlin, Hugh Sisson, Albert Mercer Sisson, Christopher Sisson and grandchildren Ethan and Granger Greenbaum, Devin, Riley and Brenna Callanan, Mac Callanan, Andy, Chris and Jack Devlin, Caroline Sisson and Gretchen and Meredith Sisson. Also survived by 12 nieces and nephews. Ann was pre-deceased by sister, Mary Jane Hamill McCarthy, and stepson, Mark Callanan, husband, John T. Wells III, who died in the Korean War, and husband, John Callanan. Ann and Al Sisson were the owners for many years of Sisson's Restaurant and Brew Pub on Cross Street. She had attended Peabody Academy of Music, Mount Saint Agnes College and Mercy Hospital Nursing School.
Annie's Memorial Celebration of her life will be held on July 21, at 1 p.m.at the Cloisters in Lutherville. The family welcomes you to join us.
