Obituary:

Ann M. Tamboe (Capasso) passed away on May 4, 2024, in Dunedin, Florida, at the age of 88. She was born on April 18, 1936, in Providence, RI, to the late Dominic and Madeline Capasso. Ann will be remembered as a loving, caring, and happy person with a great smile and a contagious laugh.

Ann was the beloved and devoted mother of Paul J. Tamboe (Rebecca Tamboe), Diane M. DeSimone (John J. DeSimone), Mark R. Sullivan-Tamboe (Deborah Sullivan-Tamboe), and Robert F. Tamboe Jr. (Joanie Tamboe). She was the loving grandmother of Anthony J. DeSimone, John J. DeSimone Jr., and Jessica Tamboe. Ann was the lifelong companion of David Chapman.

She enjoyed watching scary movies, spending time at the beach, and cherished quality time with her family. Ann's legacy of love and laughter will forever be treasured by those who knew her.

A Christian Mass in memory of Ann M. Tamboe will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Ghost, 472 Atwells Ave, Providence, RI 02909.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

I am so saddened by the loss of my last first cousin Ann. She was always kind to me from when I was young, she made me ringbearer at her wedding. Our prayers go out to my cousins, Paul, Mark, Diane, and Bobby.
