Anna L. Danny

Anna L. Danny, 84, of Murrysville died Tuesday (Aug. 17, 2004) in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Harrison.

She was born July 27, 1920, in New Kensington. Mrs. Danny was an elevator operator for Washington Hospital, Washington, D.C., for 30 years. She also worked in the cooking utensil department at Alcoa, New Kensington. She was a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington. Mrs. Danny enjoyed reading, dancing and watching television. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Sylvester "Whitey" Danny; a brother, Stanley (Virginia) Kaczmar of Los Angeles; and a sister, Helen Olearchick of Upper Burrell. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Fiedyn Kaczmarczyk, and three sisters, Mary Stanko, Genevieve Cowan and Victoria Kaczmarczyk. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124, Leechburg Road, where prayers of transfer will be at 8:45 a.m. Friday. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Mary of Czestochowa Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Lower Burrell.
