FINKE, Anna Kaisa A Cherry Hill resident for over 45 years, age 81, wife of Dr. Guenter Finke for 52 years. Mrs. Finke (nee Harkonen), a beautiful and loving mother and grandmother died peacefully on August 6, 2009. Loving mother of Pia Annukka Ems (Steven) of Moorestown, NJ; Peter Klaus Finke of NY, NY and Annette Margarethe Cseri(Frank) of New Hope, PA. Devoted grandmother of Derek, Tyler, and Connor Ems, Alexandra and Ferenc Cseri. She is also survived by 4 sisters Marjatta, Eeva, Liisa, Ritva and 2 brothers Kalevi and Olavi all in Finland, and many other relatives in Finland, Sweden and Germany. Mrs. Finke was born in Ilomantsi, Finland in 1928. She was a school teacher in Finland for 8 years before moving to Germany with her husband Guenter. In 1960 they moved to Cherry Hill where she has been a long time member of Cherry Valley Swim Club, International Friendship Club and the American-Finnish Society. Anna Kaisa enjoyed cooking good food, the performing arts and days at the beach. Relatives and friends will gather to celebrate her life on Friday August 21st at 10:00 AM for family visitation and the memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM. Both the visitation and memorial service will be held at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 318 Chester Avenue, Moorestown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Suomi-school of the Finnish American Society of the Delaware Valley (FASDV), c/o Elina Catterton, 73 Bristle Cone Dr., Bear, DE 19701. Arrangements by the SCHETTER FUNERAL HOME OF CHERRY HILL, NJ.
