I consider having known Anna to be a gift the value of which cannot be calcutated in earthly terms. The hours we spent together over the last 4 years were few but there was an inexplicable, instant bond of love, understanding and respect. In telling me of her life she taught me much about how to live mine, with gratitude for all that comes to me, remembering always that no matter how we feel we suffer there are countless numbers who suffer more. I will miss having coffee with her, discussing her books over a 'drop' of her special Hungarian liquer and admiring her extraordinary embroidery. "Thank-you Anna for the gift that you were. I will remember you well and your spirit will always be here inspiring me to live the rest of my time up to your expectations!

She gave me the biggest and most significant present I have ever received. Not only was it wonderful to spend a summer in Regina but I am also grateful for just getting to know her. I will always remember her kindness and wisdom and all the stories she told me about her long and eventful life. Thank You, God, that she was with us for such a long time and that now she is with You forever.
