Everyone in our family depended on Anna , the same way her friends and co-workers did. She always knew what to do in a time of crisis, and she was the one who made our family extra special with all her personal touches. It might be a dish she prepared, or sharing a story about her childhood growing up with my dad in New York and dealing with the circumstances in CUBA.. It didn't matter what it was, Anna, made everything seem magical.
She understood every member of our family and had a sixth sense about how to support each one of us whenever we needed that extra hug or encouragement. She was always there, no matter the circumstances, and certainly no matter how inconvenient, I knew it must have been for her. She was positive about life. Even during those last weeks of her life, she was the one who comforted all of us and reassured us.
No words can express how deeply we will miss my Anna. I am so grateful and blessed that she was my aunt and our best friend. May God bless you, Anna, Tell my mother and father I think of them often and keep you safe in heaven, until we're reunited in his name.
Little Blind, Rusty

This was the last time my sister Sandy and I got to speak with our cousin Anna, thanks to my brother Ricky making it possible. She will be truly missed by all. When living in Brooklyn, N.Y. Anna was our part time babysitter. Her and my Mom were "Besties." She took us places and I always remember her loving music and dancing at Grandma's house in Brooklyn. When they moved to California and Mike and I and the kids would visit with them, there was ALWAYS some wonderful Puerto Rican food cooking on the stove. We shared plenty of love and laughter at the Ramirez Casa. Love you Anna. Hug Mom and Dad for me...
