Anna Silva Camarillo - Anna Galaviz Silva, of Camarillo, CA, was called home to our Lord on April 7, 2023. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Anna was born to Celedonio and Domitila Galaviz on July 20, 1952 in Jalisco, Mexico. In 1964, at the age of 11, she, along with her parents and six siblings moved to Somis, CA. She was a proud graduate of Camarillo High School in 1971. Upon graduation, Anna became the first member of her family to become a US citizen, an accomplishment she was very proud of. Anna was very instrumental in helping her parents purchase their only home and helping her siblings set roots in Camarillo. She was proud of her siblings and was often looked at as a Motherly figure who could be looked to, to make decisions on behalf of the family. In 1981, Anna met her best friend Michael Silva, who would then become the love of her life. They married on May 26, 1984. Their union would give them 2 children that she loved dearly and 8 beautiful grandchildren that were her pride and joy. She was a loving Nana who loved spending time with her grandchildren. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for them. She was always so proud of them and their accomplishments. Her favorite was showering them with gifts, especially on their birthdays and Christmas. She loved attending their sporting and school events and was always their loudest fan. Anna was a strong woman of faith and was a devoted member of Love International Outreach Fellowship for 34 years.

She was preceded in death by her Father Celedonio Galaviz, Mother Domitila Galaviz and Mother in law Margaret Godina. Anna is survived by her husband Michael of 38 years and her 2 children, Mike Silva Jr. (Jennifer) and Veronica Lopez (Daniel), 8 Grandchildren; Lillyanna, Mikayla, Hailey, Natalie, Jacob, Michael III, Emily and Nathan. Her 6 siblings Graciano Galaviz, Isabel Vasquez (Francisco), Emma Heredia (Humberto), Sal Galaviz (Diane), Juan Galaviz (Loretta), and Raymond Galaviz (Rosie) and many nieces and nephews.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day- and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8

It is mind blowing to acknowledge yet another year without your physical presence here in this realm of life. Anna, you continue being sorely missed. Life had shifted for Michael, Mikito and Veronica in such a deep way. Grieving never ends, I know this too well, myself. God bless you in heaven, hermana. I am grateful for knowing you and being your hermana en Cristo .
Michael and family, keep Anna's memory alive.

Michael, Mikito, Vero and all your precious nietos, my sincerest memories of the fun times we shared together. On this heavy day for all of you, remember and celebrateAna. It doesn't matter how much time passes because our loss is still very raw and absolutely real. Grieving is a daily journey that only God can see us through. Never forget all of the memories you were blessed to experience with your beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Keep Ana's memory alive by frequently speaking about her with all who remember and love her. God bless you all.

Ana, I think of you often and I wonder about all the conversations you must have with my beloved Efrain. I also have felt your presence...when I attended Jessica's services at the fellowship hall, I turned around a couple of times because I literally felt your presence. Mujer, hermana, you are dearly missed. I know from my own experience of missing my precious Efrain, that Michael isn't the same, he misses you so much. God bless you and all of our loved one's in heaven.
