Anna Tankersley Obituary
Marie will be remembered as a devoted mother who loved unconditionally and passionately. Her family and friends were everything to her. She became Mama Marie and Grama Re to many people who became like family.
She was also the owner and operator of The Pet Boutique. Needless to say there were many well-loved animals around Marie's home. Marie was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church. Her faith and love of God showed itself as she prayed often for her precious family and others.
She is survived by her three children, David Logan Tankersley (Gina), Rocky Tankersley (Janet) and Deborah Nichols (Daniel, deceased); as well as 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday Nov. 11, 2017, at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1700 N.E. 132nd Ave., Portland, OR 97230. Donations in Marie's name may be sent to Providence Hospice 4805 N.E. Glisan St. Portland, OR 97213.
