Aged 83, originally of Rudgwick, passed away on January 1st 2018, in Limerick. Widow of Rodon, much loved mother of Mark, William, Josephine and Melissa, and grandmother of William, Jack, Luke, Ben, Sam, Tom and Ella.

I knew her as Anne Slater more than 70 years ago in Rudgwick in wartime . She used to ride a horse called Christopher Robin in local gymkhanas and my God she was beautiful.I took her out once or twice when I was 16 but was too intimidated to kiss her. Those were very different days......... !
I am now 87 and am sad to hear of her passing. IAN JOSEPHS
