In Loving Memory of Anne Marie (Burns) Clarizio

Anne Marie Clarizio, born on June 10, 1930, in Great Neck, New York, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and generosity.

Anne Marie Quinn attended Seton Hill College, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with learning and compassion. In 1952, she married Thomas Joseph Burns, and together they built a loving family. Tom's passing in 2004 was a great loss, but Anne found love again and married James Clarizio in 2005. Their union was a testament to resilience and the enduring power of love. James predeceased her in 2018.

Anne is survived by her beloved sister, Joan Quinn, who shared countless cherished memories throughout their lives. She leaves behind six devoted children: Barbara, James, Michael, Joan, Richard, and Mary. Her legacy continues through her 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her spirit and values.

Anne's unwavering faith, love for her family, and her passion for tennis and bridge will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A service to celebrate Anne's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
