McHENRY - Anne H. Drake, 90, of McHenry, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, at The Fountains at Crystal Lake.
She was born Sept. 15, 1915, in Chicago, to Amond and Hilda (Johnson) Dahl. She later married Robert E. Drake Sr. in Chicago.
She had attended Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in McHenry and later Bethany Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake. She also belonged to Sons of Norway.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include seven children, Rodney (Mary) Drake of Springhill, Fla., Robert (Kristen) Drake Jr. of Fernandina Beach, Fla., Dianne (Harvey) Warren of Glendora, Calif., Dennis (Sharon) Drake of Woodstock, Larry (Erin) Drake of McHenry, Steven (Carol) Drake of McHenry and Carol (Robert) Schaefer of Crystal Lake; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Agnes Ehrhardt of Barrington and Selma Koernman of Long Beach, Calif.; and two brothers, Melvin (Janet) Dahl of Arlington Heights and Einar (Kathy) Dahl of Prospect Heights.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Jane Tayler and Isabelle Bjorgin; and two brothers, Elmer and Arthur Dahl.
The visitation will be from 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, until the service at 6 p.m., at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry. The Rev. Roger Schneider will officiate.
Burial will be private.
