Dear JoAnn,
I was surprised and saddened to see Bob's obit in today's paper. I remember our bridge-playing days in Hattiesburg; those were enjoyable times.I also remember visiting you both when you lived in SW Houston, and Bob talking about his running the Marathon. It was a once-in-a lifetime experience, I believe.
You have my deepest sympathies----I know you lost a good man and a good friend. Sincerely, Mike Alexander

Dear JoAnn,
My thoughts are with you and your family at this time. Bob was my mentor at BP in Houston in the late 1980's and I learned so much from him. He was the "classic" gentleman geologist and I will always remember him for his calm demeanor and love of geology.

Dear JoAnn,
My sincerest condolences. I worked with Bob at BP, and once helped him create a gift for you. Knowing Bob was one of my great memories from those years. He is deeply missed.
Sincerely,
