Anne Hull Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 2, 2025.
Anne Louise Hull, 96, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024 in Port Saint John, FL surrounded by family and supported by the Pelican Team of St. Francis hospice care. We would like to thank Cathy, Antonia, and Jeanie for their tenderness and dedication. Born June 21, 1928 in Northampton, MA, Anne was the youngest of five children born to Edwin and Beatrice Soulliere LaMontagne. After graduating from Westbrook Junior College in Portland, ME and following the death of her first husband John Ruggeri, Anne relocated to Florida in 1958. She met Lee Hull, Jr. while they were employed with the early aerospace engineering program that would become NASA, and they were married in 1961 in Cocoa Beach. Anne and Lee worked for NASA in Florida and later California, with Anne providing secretarial support for notable programs like Mercury, Apollo, and eventually space shuttle projects, until she and Lee retired together in 1986. Anne enjoyed traveling around the world with Lee, taking cruises, daily bridge games, baking, and hosting friends and family at hers and Lee's condo. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lee, and siblings Jeanne, Edwin Jr., Arthur, and Roy. Anne is survived by her daughter Louise Ferguson (Port Saint John), her son Peter Hull (Puerto Rico), granddaughters Leann Ferguson (Port Saint John) and Marissa Ferguson (Philadelphia, PA), and numerous nephews and nieces. Donations in Anne's name may be made to the local SPCA of Brevard (6035 Sisson Road, Titusville, FL 32780).

A visitation will be held at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach from 4-6 PM Wednesday, January 22. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, January 23 at Our Saviors Catholic Church (5301 North Atlantic Avenue, Cocoa Beach FL). Burial services will be on Friday, January 24 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.

I was grateful to sing in the choir for her funeral. What a beautiful life she led, and legacy she built!
I wanted to share this photo that I snapped of my music stand with the family. Thank you for this opportunity to pray with you and join in this special time.

I will miss Anne a great deal. She was a wonderful neighbor to me for over 32 years at Rock Point Condominiums. Always leaving me a little something on my windowsill homemade brownies or cookies so sweet said she like doing it for me just knowing that I was there. And was a smart gutsy woman and a pleasure to be around and to learn from. She is finally found her resting place back with her husband Lee right where she wanted to be. God bless her....❤

Anne and I were neighbors, but more importantly, we were good friends for over 50 years. She was the kind of person everyone would want for a friend.
She was kind, had a big heart, loved people and ALWAYS had a smile on her face.
We would chat over the fence in the back yard while hanging our laundry. One particular day, I had fitted sheets and was trying to fold them. She said, "let me show you how to fold them so they are flat"' She showed me and they were perfect. I still fold them the same way, and always think of Anne.
She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
God Bless you my dear friend, you are home now.

Anne and I worked together at the Kennedy Space Center and enjoyed many lunches together while we brought each other up to date on all the gossip! We continued our friendship even after retirement. She was a lovely lady and I enjoyed our friendship very much.
