Anne was such a caring and beautiful person. A wonderful classmate!

Anne and I met at Newberry College. She was the most kind and honest person! Talented and beautiful, she was a true light and friend to all.

Anne was a great friend in high school! She always had a smile on her face! Beautiful inside and out! A wonderful class mate!

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Anne's family. She was a lifelong friend of mine through school and church. I'll never forget her!!!

Before attending Newberry College, Anne studied piano with my mother Betty Lou Shirer. I remember watching and listening to her lessons through the French doors (when I was real little) and admiring her abilities. My mother would assign her a new piece and Anne would show up at her next lesson with the piece memorized!! She was a very gifted lady and I will always admire her for her talent. ----Louis

My first memory of my grandmother is her playing the piano while I sat on the living room floor listening! My last memory of her is her holding my son, her great-grandson in that same house!
