Anne LeVan Obituary
Of Media, Pennsylvania and New Bern, North Carolina, age 77, died Thursday, August 23, 2012 of complications from Alzheimer's at Genesys Convalescent Center. Per Anne's wishes, cremation has taken place. Contributions may be made to Genesys Convalescent Center. Anne was born in Darby, Pennsylvania on July 6, 1935, daughter of the late John and Anna (Phillips) Rivell. Anne taught school for 30 years in Pennsylvania. She impacted over 6000 children lives through her teaching career. Surviving are daughter, Betsy and husband Ron Sears; son, John and wife Annette; grandchildren, Dr. Lauren Aderholdt, Mark Aderholdt, John LeVan Jr. and Elise LeVan. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Art after almost 50 years of marriage, father and mother John and Anna Rivell. Your

I just read about Anne's passing. I am so very sorry to learn of this. I worked with Anne for many years. She was a superb educator and wonderful friend. Art told me several years ago of Anne's illness, after sending my yearly Christmas card. I am sorry we have lost two wonderful human beings. They will always be in my memory.
