Anne Thomson Obituary
She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband, Keith with whom she shared 62 years of marriage, daughter Lesley (Tom) and son Neil, grandchildren Peter, Michael, and Brooke, her beloved sister, Margaret and nephews, Patrick (Isabelle), Peter and Kevin (Dan), sister-in-law Elaine and her family in Montreal and long time friends in North Vancouver and Palm Springs.
Anne was a Stewardess with Canadian Pacific Airlines and enjoyed travelling long after her airline career ended. She was a Life Member of the Lions Gate Hospital Auxiliary and gave 30 years of volunteer time to the hospital. She loved her family, sunshine, animals, palm trees, travel, and chocolate. She was funny and creative and had a strong spirit which endured to the end.
Sincere thanks to the staff of 1 South at Evergreen House for their care, and to Dr. Peter Schwarz for his compassion during her final weeks.
A gathering to celebrate Anne's life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2:00 pm at First Memorial Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver.
In lieu of flowers a donation to Cystic Fibrosis Canada or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

My sincere condolences Keith, to you and the family. I was truly shocked to hear of Anne's (Mrs. T's) passing and how saddened I am that I didn't call her for coffee the last time I was in Vancouver. Anne was a fantastic person who shared countless wonderful memories with my Mom and she will forever be in the fond memories of my childhood. May you find peace and share a smile with me, knowing she has now been reunited with my Mom - God only knows what kind of trouble they'll stir up after all these years!! Dear Keith and family - so sorry to hear of Anne's passing. We have been friends Albeit from a distance for many years, but sogood to have kept in touch. We do remember that you had been married for 62 years - couldn't forget your wedding - in the middle of Hurricane Hazel in Toronto! Our sympathy to you and the family Take care

I will miss my dear friend ♡ Anne was a huge part of my life... I will cherish our good times we had together, our outings and many laughs we shared over the 3 years I had the pleasure of working with her... and the years after we remained close friends. I will truly miss exchanging cards and our visits. I wish all the best to Keith, Lesley, Neil and the grandchildren. She often spoke of all of you dearly and was so very proud of her grandchildren. Thank you all for letting me into your home, she was a true gem!
