Annette Louise Croley, 85, of Dallas, Texas, and formerly of Denton, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025. She was born December 12, 1939, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to George J. and Tillie L. Polhemus.

Annette earned a degree from East Texas State University and married Thomas (Tom) Croley in 1964. They shared 53 years together, before settling in Denton in 1977.

She worked as a dietitian at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, later taught at Denton Christian Preschool, and co-owned a quilting store in Denton. Annette loved quilting, crafting, sewing, decorating, and cheering for the Texas Rangers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Edwin Polhemus, and her husband, Tom. She is survived by her sons: David (Mona) Croley of Austin, with children Sam and Sarah; Brenton (Carrie) Croley of Carrollton; and Philip (Leigh Adams-Croley) of Topanga, California; along with her sister-in-law Janell Chesnut, and nephews John Hogg (David Garza); and Jim (Millie) Hogg and their daughter, Hillary Rocha.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 27, at 10:30 a.m. at Joyce Hall Library at Presbyterian Village North, 8600 Skyline Drive, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Denton Christian Preschool (https://www.dentoncps.org/donate) in Annette's honor.
