Deepest sympathy to Tom and family on the passing of 'Annie'. Annette Knight was Albany's First Lady and I have never known a stronger crusader for Albany's economic and social development. Gone but never forgotten.

KNIGHT (Annette ): In loving memory of dear Annette, a special friend and colleague. Her contribution to Albany, to local government and to the community in general was exceptional and will have a lasting impact, for which she will be fondly remembered.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she will be remembered with much love and respect and will be sadly missed.

She was an outstanding community leader, whether it be as the energetic and most capable Mayor of Albany, or in the numerous community groups she led with distinction and in a very fine style. She was a great Western Australian leader and an inspiration to us all.
