Dear John and Doris,
I just heard about your daughter today, and I can't imagine the pain and sorrow you must be feeling. Although we met Annette only briefly when we purchased your house on Longbow, she was not much older than our daughter now, who is 17. We are so sorry for your loss, and we will keep you all in our prayers in the coming weeks. We are sure she is with God now and watching over all of us, and I'm sure she is smiling at the two of you.

To Annette's family: Annette always spoke so lovingly about each of you. She drew a great deal of strength and ability to carry on from each of you. Annette attributed a lot of her business savvy and salesmanship to her dad. She gave me a copy of the Hot Dog Vendor which she said you gave her and that you had been carrying it in your wallet for years. Annette spoke in glowing terms about her trip to the Black Point Inn in Scarsborough Maine with her mom just recently. She laughed about the discussions and joking you had with the Australian priest and raved about the 5 star food. She told me how beautiful you are. Your trip with her meant so very much to her and gave her such a sense of peace. Again, my deepest sympathies on your loss.

Annette was the most sweetest, beautiful person (inside & out) I have ever met. She worked so hard and cared so much for everyone around her. Hopefully her story will inspire anyone else who has the same situation she did. The only comfort there is right now for us is knowing that she is in a place as wonderful as she is, free from everything life dealt her. May she always be happy and at peace. We all loved you, Annette! Michelle: It will get better. At least now, we can finally be happy for her, knowing she's at peace. God Bless Annette and everyone else.

We are all saddened and lessened by her loss. Her presence will be missed. My deepest sympathies to Annette's family and her many friends. May she be in peace.

My heart and prayers are with the Soares family. No words can ever express what pain and sorry you are feeling now. Annette was one of a kind. Everyone who met her loved her. She touched so many peoples lives with her warm and caring ways. Her smile would bring sunshine on a gloomy day. I will never forget Annette and all she did for me over the years. She was always looking out for you. She comforted you when you were down, make you laugh and forget the bad day you had. She was so full of life. I know you will be watching over all of Annette because that is how you are. I will always remember your beautiful smile, the laughter we shared and how you were always there for everyone. May you rest in peace now, our Angel, and some day i will see you again.
Love Denice..........

I worked for Annette for about 6 years. Then last year she helped me find a permanent job in the same building where her office was. I had the pleasure of seeing her almost on a daily basis. She was always there for me professionally and personally. I shared some of my deepest joys and hurts with her and she also shared some with me. I was so fortunate to see her the day before she died and she told me she loved me and I told her I loved her. Annette, thank you and we will meet again one day and until then we will always remember your smile and how you where always there for us. I will miss you dearly. God Bless you and keep you till we see you again. Your friend Sandee

May you have peace and comfort to know Annette touched so many lives and has left so many beautiful memories. It is a great saddness to lose such a positive and upbeat person. Annette was a true professional and greatly respected by those who worked with her it was hard to be a colleage and not become a friend. Annette will be missed by many and we were blessed to have known her.

To all of Annette's family:
I am deeply saddend by Annette's passing. I cannot imagine how you must feel. I have only known her for the last couple of years but I grew to respect and love her as a human being. I enjoyed working with her and just talking to her was always a pleasant experience. There are no words that can truly explain how it feels to lose such an exceptional, beautiful person. Bad things do happen to good people and I will never forget Annette and the joy she brought to everyone she came in contact with. She will be missed.

Annette was one of the greatest people anyone could ever know. I started going to Careers Unlimited six years ago looking for a job and Annette was always a pleasant person to deal with. A few months back I also was in an abusive relationship to which Annette was there for me - she helped me through a difficult time in my life and I only wish I could have been there for her. She was always smiling and cheerful, never had a frown on that face of hers. Annette, I just want you to know that I will miss you very very much and please keep that smile on your face - I know you are watching all of us. I love you.

My sympathies go out to the Soares family.
I had the pleasure of knowing Annette for the past six years. Our friendship grew from her continued efforts in my search for a great position. She is responsible for my prior experience, the encouragement she gave me and the will to push me to be where I am today. You gave life to the most wonderful person that could have walked the face of this earth...In the past six years our friendship had grown to more than friends, she was like the sister I never had. I married my husband in 2000, and Annette was overjoyed that I included her in my guest list. My last time to spend time with her was last summer when I flew in to Haverhill for a week, and we met at her office, went to lunch and spent most of the afternoon shopping...doing the goofy things that girls do when shopping for clothes, picking out the silliest outfits the other would look good in! The funniest thing I'll never forget is at that time she got her hair cut and the nickname she came up with was "Chicken Head"...We laughed so hard every time one of us had to say something and she'd call herself chicken head or I'd say it to her first.it just stuck... She always had the knack to laugh, always had those great big eyes that made you smile. I've been in Bartlett, TN for a little over 2 years, and not a week has gone by that we have not talked. Either by email or over the phone. If it was longer than a week, we would be wondering what the other was up to. There are too many funny stories, and too many "silly" things we did, good times and sad times. She will always, always be in my thoughts and memories, no one will ever take that away from anyone that knew her. Nettie, you won't be far from my thoughts, and a tree will be planted for you in my backyard...so when it blooms in the beautiful summer sunshine here in Tennessee...it will remind me of those big eyes and the smile that went along with it...I have a tribute to you my friend:
"It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but an entire life to forget them"
Chicken head...."I love you"...and I'm gonna miss you terribly...You keep all those heavenly creatures up there smiling like you would be doing here on earth...And when it's my time...we'll be acting up like we used to.......My friend...all of my love.........

I worked with Annette at the office building she worked at. I was one of the receptionist. I am going to miss her smile and her upbeat personality. She was a light that shined brightly - never showing what was going on in her life. I am praying for her family and friends left behind, so they can have some peace in this time of tragedy. I am very sorry for your lost and I will miss Annette.
