Ms. Bohandy was my nursing instructor 34 years ago.I will never forget her.She was one of the smartest people I've ever met.She was tough but taught with love. She wanted all her students to be their very best.Im sorry I'm sending this now but I just found out she had passed.I wish more people could be like her.God bless her and her family and may she rest in peace.God has another angel!

Annie was the nursery charge nurse at Wright-Patterson AFB when I was a 1LT. She was a warm and welcoming person who helped to guide her nurses.

On behalf of the Society of Air Force Nurses, please know we are mourning the loss of our friend and colleague, retired Lieutenant Colonel Annie Bohandy. She was a remarkable woman who made a difference in the lives of so many during her own journey through life. She was a lifetime member of the Society, and a donation will be made in her memory and honor to the Hillside Baptist Church. She is missed by many, and Annie will not be forgotten by the community of Air Force nurses.
