Annie Mae Butler Ivey born March 25, 1934 was a life long resident of Kenner, LA transitioned peacefully on Wednesday December 23, 2022 at 12:11 A.M at her home surrounded by her family and love ones. She worked many years for the Jefferson Parish School System until she retired. She was also a member of First Love Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess. Annie Mae was born to the late Mary Casey Butler and Clarence Butler. She survived by 5 daughters; Karen Hamilton, Cynthia (Kevin) Duronslet, Pamela (Derick) Dillon, Sharon Ivey, and Carolyn (Allen) Synigal, 6 sons; Dempsey Ivey, Kenneth (Denise) Ivey, Ronald (Lakesha) Ivey, Joseph (Angelique) Ivey, Earl Sr. (Brenda) Ivey, and Kevin (Ursula) Ivey, 1 sister; Dorothy Faciane and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held Saturday December 31, 2022 at 10 A.M and service will being at 11 A.M at Cypress Grove Baptist Church 901 31st Kenner, LA 70065. Service is entrusted to Jones Memorial Funeral Home 811 Paul Maillard Luling, LA 70070. Interment at Belle Grove Cemetery Kenner, LA.
