Annie May Kissam may have outlived many of her contemporaries, but she was a great friend to my mother and many of their other friends in small town Homestead Florida. A true Southern Lady, she gave back to the community most recently through collecting the history of Homestead and being hospitable to her friends from that era when most everyone knew each other in Homestead.
